Canadian artist, Mandi Irmen, grew up in the Okanagan. She is inspired to paint animals, nature, and botanicals and loves to paint them in a colourful and impressionistic way. Mandi is a self taught artist. She works with oils and acrylics on canvas, and uses acrylics to get creative on skateboards and pottery. She is a member of The Okanagan Artists of Canada, and has had works on display at Gallery Vertigo, Vernon Community Arts Center, The Armstrong Art Gallery, Village Green Shopping Center, Creative Chaos, and The Okanagan Artisan Show. Mandi is currently based in Vernon, B.C.
