Art in Maffeo Park 2026
🎨 That’s a wrap!
Our 2nd Annual Art in Maffeo Park has officially come to a close — and what an incredible season it was. Thank you to every artist, maker, food truck, partner, volunteer, and visitor who helped bring these three vibrant days to life at Maffeo Sutton Park.
From June 7th to August 29th, over 45 local and regional artists filled the park with creativity, colour, and community spirit. Each date had its own unique energy, and together they made this summer’s series truly unforgettable.
We’re already gearing up for Year 3 in 2027, and the call‑out for next year’s artists and vendors will be announced soon. Stay tuned — we can’t wait to build on this momentum and make next year’s celebration even bigger and brighter.
Thank you, Nanaimo, for showing up, supporting local, and making Art in Maffeo Park such a success. See you next year!

Picnic in the Plaza 2026 has officially wrapped, and what an incredible day it was. Thank you to all the artists, makers, performers, food vendors, volunteers, and visitors who helped bring this vibrant community celebration to life. Your energy and creativity made the plaza shine.
We may be curating the Arts & Artisan Market again for next year’s event — so stay tuned for updates. If we do, we’ll be announcing details well in advance so artists and makers can apply early.

As a Gulf Island Artist exposure can often be limited to online or small markets. Through Pacific arts market I’ve had the privilege to reach a much wider audience than I could at home. I am truly grateful and honoured to be a part of this amazing community and look forward to the next five years

She is her name - A beautiful Crystal - a woman of this Earth who shines her light on all she touches. Pacific Arts is a community where all are welcome and are given a place to grow, explore, and experience.
