What is it: This nearly 2,500-square-foot gallery space features art, jewelry, and other handmade crafts from more than 40 artists from Vancouver and around British Columbia.

A vacant unit on the second floor of 1448 West Broadway, Vancouver has been transformed into a vibrant arts market showcasing work by over 40 local artists and makers.

Pacific Arts Market (PAM) recently announced a program that will give local students and artists on a tight budget a chance to sell and display their treasures in the South Granville gallery for a special rate.

Self-taught, Vaughn David has always evolved in the world of wood. Working first in carpentry, he took a turn in his professional life and felt a need to create twelve years ago. "I was too stressed in my work and I wanted the freedom to do that. I never regretted it, "he explains.

Head upstairs to this large, under-the-radar gallery space and you'll find a kaleidoscopic array of stands showcasing the work of 40+ Vancouver and BC artists.
