Ladyslippers is an abstract piece in Alcohol Ink using a straw to blow the ink upward which created these shapes reminiscent of the flower. The Ladyslipper is my favourite wildflower and it is a member of the orchid family. The flowers have inflated lips that form a slipper-like pouch. The dimensions are L 14” x W 11” x D 1.25”. It is mounted on cradle board and white back mat in a black floating frame with hardware installed, ready to hang.
