Paintings that capture the essence of the surrounding north west coastal landscape is my passion. Although I have circumnavigated the world in a sailboat and experienced the beauty of many seaside countries, British Columbia’s coastal waters and my home on Mudge Island are my most treasured inspirations for my artwork. I am impressed by the magic and my love for nature's secret sense of harmony, structure, textures and unexpected colors. I love to transform landscapes into a combination of classic impressionism and modern expressionism using vivid colors and bold brushstrokes.
