| Yugal the Content Couple (painting and print) In this romantic portrait of the hero and heroine (whether it be Radha-Krishna, Sita -Rama, or indeed Romeo and Juliet, or in fact or our own parents or grandparents perhaps, love and affection are palpably clear. Who is here butthe One who sees the Other! As such, drawn in simple lines without embellishment, the curves and contours of the lovers suggest an upcoming fest. Hence flower-petals are tossed near, and a darkish plant close-by suggests their upcoming parlance as a most secretive ‘here’! And what to speak of the rouged- erotic background?
