This painting is done in mixed media using acrylics, collage, pencils, pastels and various other methods to create texture. It is painted on a cradled board which is L16"XW20"XD1.5/8". The inspiration for my subject came to me during my travels overseas and the colours and views while driving on roads and bridges made me want to paint. I have tried to capture the impressions of such places as I found them to be extremely fascinating. As a contemporary artist I strive to express my feelings in a non representational style and my hope is that the viewer is also able to relate to them.
