"The Wayfarer", 14x18.5" inches, original Sumi-e painting on white rice paper of a Zen Buddhist monk disciple standing on a mountain peak looking at the sunset over a Torii gate of a distant shrine. The painting has a slightly rustic, genuine, traditional feel with visible fiber of hand-made 2-ply rice or mulberry paper. It often contains minor imperfections, wrinkles and smudges that add uniqueness and authentic wabi-sabi charm. The artwork is not framed and will be shipped rolled in a tube. It can be easily trimmed and framed or mounted by a professional. The delicate rice paper medium does not tolerate ironing or exposure to water. Trimmed, mounted or damaged artworks are not returnable. Note: This item is only sold online.
