The herring gull, a common sight on Vancouver Island, feeds on sea creatures along the shoreline and ocean surface, often seen in large, noisy flocks. They breed among coastal rocks, making nests from vegetation and debris. Chicks peck at a red dot on the adult's yellow bill to stimulate feeding. Giclee print - W36x24H x 1.5 D.
