Medium: Clay - Navajo Red Stoneware
IN-STORE PICK UP ONLY. Platter is hand built using Navajo red stoneware clay and slowly dried to prevent cracking and warping. An actual fern was used to make the fern print by first dipping the entire platter in a jade colored glaze and then carefully spraying the green colored glaze over the fern from a distance! A tricky process! Weight is approximately 2.6 pounds (1,160 g) and is 11.5 inches across each side, 0.5 inches thick and 16.2 inches diagonally. Other platters of various shapes, sizes and designs also available in-store.
