| A handmade shaving set made from ebonized oak wood. It includes a stand that will hold a razor and shaving brush. A shaving brush with a badger hair knot and choice of a safety razor, Gillette Mach 3 razor handle or Gillette fusion razor handle. All pieces were hand turned on a lathe out of oak wood that was then ebonized using a mixture of steel wool dissolved in vinegar that reacts with the natural tannin in the wood to produce a dark colour. The razor handle has been finished with CA glue and the brush with polyurethane. There is no problem with getting them wet during use as long as they are allowed to dry out between uses. |
