| Om Symbol and Red and Black Background If Om represents all pervading sacred sound, shabdabrahman in fact, the execution of its written form is equally encompassing and invitingly pervasive. The curved lines of the image and the red ground suggest atypography which solicit us to step forward and invite a mutual embrace. Indeed, simultaneously its form, both aesthetically and graphically, provoke an applausefrom a sensitive audience! As such, I myself as the artist, have placed the sacred Om in a confidential environment- the initial red of affection and the black geometric plane- the latter which again is enhanced by corners calligraphed with sacred syllables and names, all together suggesting confidentiality. As such, Om -or Aum- is not always easily understood perse or entered into, as it requires the Good! Yet we step forward and chant the sacred syllable, praying for the Enlightened-Go(o)d!
