Kyoto Diaries", 12.5x16" inches, original Sumi-e painting on off-white rice paper of two Japanese ladies in kimono, Maiko, Geisha apprentices, walking on the street in Gion, Kyoto with umbrellas in the rain. The painting has a slightly rustic, genuine, traditional feel with visible fiber of hand-made 2-ply rice or mulberry paper. It often contains minor imperfections, wrinkles and smudges that add uniqueness and authentic wabi-sabi charm. The artwork is not framed and will be shipped rolled in a tube. It can be easily trimmed and framed or mounted by a professional. The delicate rice paper medium does not tolerate ironing or exposure to water. Trimmed, mounted or damaged artworks are not returnable. Note: This item is only sold online.
