This painting is done in mixed media using acrylics, collage, pencils, pastels and various other methods of creating texture. It's painted on a cradled board which is H16"XW20"and D1.5/8". The inspiration for my subject came to me during my travels to exotic and historical old cities that have withstood the test of time. I have tried to capture the impressions of such cities in my series as I found them to be extremely fascinating. As a contemporary artist I strive to express my feelings in a non representational style and my hope is that the viewer is able to relate to them.
