This painting is done in mix media using acrylics, collage, pencils, pastels and various other methods to create texture. It was painted on a cradled board, 16" H X 20" W X1.5/8"D. The inspiration for my subject came to me during my travels to exotic and historical old cities that have withstood the test of time. I have tried to capture the impressions of such cities in my series as I found them to be extremely fascinating. As a contemporary artist I strive to express my feelings in a non representational style and I hope the viewer is also able to relate to them.
