Note: This item is only sold online This 16x20 inch oil painting is done on a deep (1.5inch) gallery wrapped stretched canvas. It does not need to be framed and is ready to hang as soon as it arrives. The painting has been protected with Gamvar varnish, which saturates the colours and gives a unified surface. This was our second trip to Stewart, in northern BC. This delightful little town sits right on the border with Alaska. Along drive there is a good pull off spot which has a stellar view of Bear Glacier. I was shocked to see how much the glacier had shrunk in the 9 years since we had last stopped here. There was a seriously noticeable and heartbreaking loss. But how do we stop it?
