This piece is a 24x36x.75inch oil painting done on a stretched canvas. It is beautifully finished with a custom made 1.25 inch grey barnwood frame. Along with 5 other creators I found myself high above the Rogers Pass, part of a group called "Art in the Park", chosen to help promote Glacier and Revelstoke National Parks through our various art disciplines. We spent an amazing week at Fidelity weather station, recording our interpretations of the area. There was so much to try to capture. Our first day there was stellar with huge cumulous clouds building that morning over the Roger Pass area below, an inspirational start to a wonderful week working with fellow artists in the high country.
