Castle Towers Mountain, or commonly known as just “Castle Towers” is one of the bigger peaks dominating the backdrop of Garibaldi Lake – the heart of Garibaldi Provincial Park. This painting was formulated from a photograph I took from a long lens on Blackcomb mountain overlooking Whistler Mountain the foreground of the painting.
This original oil painting was created using a monochromatic style. Mixing Prussian blue with titanium white giving the painting a cool crisp feeling.
