The blue-green watery background is made from rolled out oil-based modelling clay that has been pressed onto gesso-coated wood. Lightly-coloured clay has been hand-rolled into threads and carefully applied to represent the aerial river tree. The clay painting is framed in a 12x10" black shadow box. This clay painting was part of a series investigating glacial melt water and the importance of clean water and preservation. Please contact me for more information: info@dbaileyart.com
