Dakhlawedi (Eagle) is sacred and is one the highest of clans. Eagles mates for life, this Eagle’s mate is so important that it’s depicted as it’s body. Dakhlawedi’s main source of food is salmon. Salmon head motif is in the shoulders. They have such good vision that they can hunt from high above and their prey won’t see them coming. Eagle feather’s are sacred & their down is symbolic of love.
