Simon Lam

Yo!!! This is Simon, a mostly self-taught painter with the simple goal of making fun, accessible art with themes of sports, entertainment, and other popular culture. Since childhood I have always been fascinated with character portraits and capturing facial resemblance. I try to really bring out the emotions and personality traits of my subjects, through a high level of detail and bright colours. Despite most of my hours being committed to a full time day job and raising two young children, I try to find an hour or two most nights to pick up my paint brushes and stay creative.
