About The Artist - Jean Marie Coyle

Born in Yorkshire, England, art and nature has always featured greatly in my life, though I am self taught. My artwork has been developing since elementary school when I recall having a work displayed pride of place in my school.

These days I mix my love of nature with a few art mediums. Predominantly I work with watercolour and ink, mostly from my imagination and memory. I find the mixing and drying of the paint often determines the topic of the finished painting.

Another medium I am working with is resin. I love the thought of encasing beautiful flowers and nature in items that people can use and keep forever.
