Never had I dreamed of being an artist. I was literally forced to take an art workshop or lose my job, and that’s how I discovered my life's passion. For close to 35 years I have been painting our amazing Canadian scenery.

Living in BC I love my mountains, so they are often the focus of my work. Now, instead of climbing and hiking in the Canadian Rockies as I did in my youth, I paint them. You will see East Coast scenes also, as we go to visit one of our daughters in Nova Scotia, and I have grown to love painting there too.

Many scenes I paint are immediately recognizable to others. I love it when people tell me my art brings back memories for them as they view my work.

My reason to Paint? It's to capture memories.
