April Kay Cooper

April Kay Cooper is a multi-media artist living in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

April studied in the United Kingdom, where she grew up finding a calling for art and design. Upon graduating as a Bachelor of Arts, she took her first contract as an abstract painter. After six months she desired to be back in the studio, learning alongside other artists. This lead to her first job in graphic design in London, England.

Following this April moved to Toronto, ON. Canada where she continued her design career, branching in to print production. In 2018 she accepted a role as a Creative Designer at Borealis AI, Royal Bank of Canada, where she still currently works full-time as a Senior Visual Design Lead.

In her free-time April enjoys pushing the boundaries of her imagination with abstract paintings, and seeking inspiration from the beautiful Canadian landscapes.
