Amanda Corkin

Amanda is a 30 year old creative originally from Mississauga, Ontario, but has found her new home out west. She is relatively new to Vancouver and is excited to explore all the possibilities of this beautiful city. She has always been into crafting, ranging from embroidery and cross-stitch, to beading with looms and more. Her new found creative expression is silversmithing- She hand-fabricates all her pieces starting off with sheet and wire of whichever metal she is working with (usually silver) and uses tools to form, solder and hammer into beautiful pieces of jewelry! Amanda's favourite pieces to craft are statement rings with large beautifully and ethically sourced stones, but also loves to make smaller, daintier rings with pieces of sea glass she finds on the beaches of Vancouver Island.
