Old buildings are such a delight to paint, especially log structures. This old cabin sits within walking distance of the Visitor Centre at Sheep Mountain in Kluane National Park. While I paint these wonderful old buildings I imagine the lives of those that lived here. It would have been a hard and lonely life indeed up in the Yukon years ago when this old miner’s cabin was still in use. This acrylic painting is done on a 16x20x1.5 inch gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and is ready to hang when it arrives. No framing is necessary.
