Jordyn Poirier

Based on Vancouver Island, Jordyn Poirier observes her natural surroundings in order to create acrylic landscape paintings. Her pieces often capture moving waves and lush, green forests, all directly influenced by her immediate environment. She works mainly on wooden panels, to further connect her work back to the source.

Jordyn studied at North Island College and completed a Diploma in Fine Arts in 2019. After graduating, she received the Stan Price Scholarship for demonstrating outstanding
academic achievement. In 2021, she graduated from University of Victoria with a degree in Visual Arts.
