David Tyers
Visual Arts
David hails from Corby, England. A keen eye for art started at a young age, his early works included watercolour on paper and slate. Later his main focus was drawing which led him to getting a college degree in drafting. After college, he was an apprentice and later a craftsman for British Rail where he worked on the Royal train. Following his service in the British Army, David moved to BC where most of his free time was spent inventing and patent drawing. In recent years he worked as a heavy duty mechanic by day and an artist by night. Working with acrylic paint and palette knife, he brings his passion for motorsport to life - describing his style as capturing speed through the fluid movement of paint. David signs his works under his pseudonym S60.
